My sister's baptizm

This past weekend was just wonderful. My sister got baptized. Since she met the missionaries, she changed so much. She's so positive about everything now and changed lots of her characteristics. We're getting along better now, eventhough we see each other every day. She was so happy as you can see on the pictures. My family got to be there. Not just my parents + brother, my aunt, her daughter and my grandmothers came also. My sisters favorite church song is the efy medley (as sisters in zion and the armee of helaman). She's always listen to it, and at her baptizm, the youth sung it for her.

Oliver Wendell Holmes "Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions."

I have found that the gospel and it's truths continually stretch me and I can no longer be happy with what or who I once was.

Well, I can certainly see that you and your sister are happy...I'm so glad. maribel and I wanted to be there and would have given anything to have been able to have attended your baptism. We also want to meet your parents.

I am teaching in the afternoons at byu and I have been working more on my art...trying to earn more in preparation to help micah on his mission.

love you...send my best to your sister and parents!

What wonderful news. I'm amazed by what your example has done for your family. You are a tremendous person who God will continue to bless as you bless the lives of those around you.

Both you and your sister look so beautiful and radiate a light in your eyes that is obvious joy and happiness. Don't let the little things get either one of you down and remember that making life changes is very difficult and long. But if you continually strive for it you will grow little by little in the right direction. that's why it's so important to take the sacrament every week. It gives us all the opportunity to recommit to living the gospel as we learn more and more.

Thank you for sharing this great news with us. We hope to meet your whole family someday!
