The first

"I looked out the window and what did I see?" SNOW. Yes, last Saturday it snowed here in Germany. Just a tiny bit and you in Utah would have laughed, it was really little and it melted fast. (this picture was taken last year when I went hiking with my grandfather in southern Germany)But we had the first snow, the first advent and I got my first calling! Cool hee? I am a primary teacher now and so excited about it. I'll teach the 6 to 8 year old kids. (there are 3 or 4 of them) Wohoo.
Everything goes up and down here. Just as usual. But I really miss Utah and lately, especially now to this christmas and thanksgiving time, I remember the most how life was when I lived with the Rees family. I miss you all, and like I told you before I am saving money to go to Utah in the summer. :)

My sister's baptizm

This past weekend was just wonderful. My sister got baptized. Since she met the missionaries, she changed so much. She's so positive about everything now and changed lots of her characteristics. We're getting along better now, eventhough we see each other every day. She was so happy as you can see on the pictures. My family got to be there. Not just my parents + brother, my aunt, her daughter and my grandmothers came also. My sisters favorite church song is the efy medley (as sisters in zion and the armee of helaman). She's always listen to it, and at her baptizm, the youth sung it for her.

Vacation in Sylt...

Since I've been working all summer to save money for college, my mom took me and my sister to a trip to Sylt. It's a small island in the northsea. (people say that in 2050 Sylt will be gone)
We 3 girls had a fun time together. Mostly it rained but that didn't stop us to do some shoping and looking around in Westerland. There is even a german song about this city, that's really unusual. My mom's best friend came with her daugter over the weekend. The last day we rent bikes and took a biketour along the beach. We actually had sun this day.
My sisters baptizm will be this saturday. We're really excited.

Wow, it's been a year since I left America. But luckily it will be just another year when I come back. Well, that's the plan right now. I'll leaf school a year earlyer, so next year and I start my application as soon as it is up at the BYU homepage. I'm also already saving money for next year.
So you see I am well prepared.
I had a lesson with the elders today. They think I'm ready to get baptized...

it's really me

Last week, I went shopping after school. In one street were people from IKEA who were looking for new faces for the upcoming catalogue in 2008. And now you have to look at that picture...

I have been really busy with school and practise. School is getting really hard and I hope I can get the grades that I need to go to college in America.
This weekend is conference and I’m not able to watch it! I was hoping to watch the Sunday afternoon section but I’m not able to because my coach arranged an extra practise! So am really upset about not watching conference. I hope the record it!

talking with the missionaries

On Friday I called sister sinclair. It was so nice to hear her voice. I'm so excited that they're coming in October! I really miss them! On the same day I went to the institute so that me and my sister can talk to the missionaries. They cannot come to my house because my parents don't want it. They don't support me and my decision to go to another church! My sister came with me and they gave her a B o M to read. (We try to read together) I’ll meet them every week! So what's new in SF? WHat are the boys doing. When I can call for free in October I'll call you first. Tell Micah and Caleb that I really want to talk to them for a little longer.

my new job

I got a new job as a waitress. It’s not very much what I earn but it's so much fun. Now I can see this view almost every day! On Sunday I went to church and my grandfather came with me. We stayed till Sunday school. He got a book of Mormon from the new missionary. The missionaries will come to me soon. Jamie & Maribel, do you know when the Liahona magazine is coming? It was so nice to talk to you. On October 15 or so I can call for free to you, than I’ll call more often.
